With over 20 years experience in the New Zealand insurance industry in a variety of underwriting roles, I am very excited to join The Barn NZ and help the team deliver solutions for our broker partners. I believe we are uniquely placed to provide great outcomes as we understand that every risk is different and aim to provide unique and client-centric solutions accordingly.  

My insurance journey began after returning from the UK on an OE in the early 2000’s and I needed a job and needed one quick! A friend of mine who was in the industry suggested I apply for a role within his company and I was successful despite never having considered a career in insurance. It soon became clear that this is an exciting industry filled with many fantastic people. I have built many strong relationships along the way which is critical in this industry.

Outside of work, I have 3 wonderful children who keep me busy. I’m a little to long in the tooth now to continue playing my life long favourite sport of basketball so am happy to watch my two boys play from the sideline and also to watch my daughter play netball.
