I am excited about heading up Market Lane Insurance Group (NZ) Limited within New Zealand. Market Lane has been successful in Australia based on their simple customer focused approach to underwriting.

I am a self-proclaimed insurance nerd and unlike most I didn’t fall into the insurance industry. My journey into insurance started over 10 years ago, when I completed a General Insurance and Risk Management Diploma in Canada, followed by my Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Finance. I have had the privilege of working in both the Canadian and New Zealand insurance markets, with my work experience encompassing underwriting, broking, and risk & compliance. I love all the opportunities the insurance industry has to offer, especially the interesting people you get to meet and stories you hear along the way.

I am passionate about developing strong broker partnerships, that assist me to understand the end clients’ business. This allows me and our underwriting team to develop customer centric solutions to offer protection for what your business values most.

Outside of work, you can find me cooking up a storm in the kitchen, out for a walk, or planning my next adventure.
